Contractors
Federal and State law established the Wisconsin Council on Developmental Disabilities to:
- Engage in advocacy, capacity building and system change to enable people with disabilities to be independent, productive and included in all facets of community life;
- Review and advise the Department of Health and Family Services, the Legislature and the governor on community budgets and plans for programs affecting persons with developmental disabilities.
Our Goals
All people with developmental disabilities will be fully included in their communities. Being included means experiencing a sense of belonging and self-worth, having meaningful relationships, and giving and receiving the benefits of being a community member.
All people with developmental disabilities will
get high quality, individualized services when and where they need them.
People with disabilities and their families will be respected, effective
advocates.
Request for Contractors
The WCDD periodically needs contractors to conduct research, write, edit, manage databases, provide technical assistance and training, organize outreach or build coalitions in order to achieve the goals in our State Plan.
The WCDD is developing a pool of people and organizations interested in working on our goals. As we develop projects, we will send announcements of contract availability to those that have specified skills in the areas needed.
If you would like to be notified when WCDD has contracts available, please return the "Availability for Contracts" form.
